People here are really watching what’s happening to the nature. Like, the contamination in our water bodies is a huge issue, impacting everything from fishes to our drinking water.
Locals have been doing their own cleaning and advocating for better waste disposal regulations. It’s been working, too; the Environmental Protection Agency says the water has improved way better in just a year, thanks to us local residents.

Economic expansion has been on everybody’s thoughts here in Escambia. We’re monitoring of new positions and construction, and there’s been a new industrial park that’s been a real significant change, bringing in a large number of positions.
However, there are some worry, too. Folks are worried about the environment and ensure development in a way that won’t hurt us. The economic corp says the park generated $50 million dollars in the previous year, though.

Education is very important to people in Escambia, especially after some improvements in our schools. The school district’s been introducing new things to help children improve and provide more opportunities for our youth to grow.
